John is an experienced and former NSW Police Highway Patrol Officer, with a 30 year policing career.

Dee is a bubbly, happy-go-lucky instructor who makes every learner feel calm whilst developing confidence through a great learning environment.

Instructor Brett
Driving Instructor
Brett is a qualified and experienced driving instructor and Module 2 Coach for the Learn Drive Survive Safer Driver Courses in Warners Bay and Newcastle. Brett is a proud father of two girls and is proactive in teaching learner drivers in a safe and friendly environment. Brett has extensive experience in driver training which has made him proficient when communicating and teaching in a way that is best suited to each individual to achieve their full potential. Brett knows how important it is to be patient and how to create an environment where students can thrive comfortably.
Brett instructs in his own Automatic Vehicle but can also instruct in Manual where the student has their own registered, roadworthy and fully insured vehicle. If using your own vehicle, students must complete at least one driving lesson with a Learn Drive Survive Driving Instructor and have 20-30 hours or more of supervised driving.

Instructor Simone
Driving Instructor
Simone is a happily married mother of 2 children 17 year old daughter and 13 year old son. Simone is a calm, encouraging and patient instructor who aspires to help others create safer drivers on our roads. Simone loves to spend time with her family, reading and all things calming. Simone has a lifetime of experience working in customer service and training and mentoring large numbers of young people. Simone chose to pursue a career as a professional driver trainer after training her own daughter to drive. Simone brings extensive knowledge and professionalism in a one on one training environment and is ready to assist others in achieving such an important goal in a calming and professional manner.
Prue instructs in her own automatic vehicle but can also instruct in manual where the student has their own registered, roadworthy and fully insured vehicle. If using your own vehicle, students must complete at least one driving lesson with a Learn Drive Survive Driving Instructor and have 20-30 hours or more of supervised driving.

Instructor Spud
Driving Instructor
Spud is a fully qualified driving instructor and holds a current Nationally Accredited Certificate IV in Road Transport (Car Instruction) under the auspice of RTO 70220. Spud instructs in his own automatic vehicle but can also instruct in a Manual where the student has their own registered, roadworthy and fully insured vehicle. If you wish to use your own vehicle, you must complete at least one driving lesson with a Learn Drive Survive Driving Instructor and have at least 30 hours of supervised driving.

Driving Instructor
Chris is a very proud husband and father with two children. His daughter is 13 and son 11. All of Chris’s friends call him Dibs. Chris is very relaxed and enjoys a good laugh. Chris grew up in a vineyard and managed vineyards in the Hunter Valley. Chris loves cooking, gardening and enjoys doing his own renovations on his home. Chris’s passion is to help others to become safe, responsible and confident drivers so they can enjoy the privilege of driving and the freedom it brings.

Instructor Glenn



Instructor John
Driving Instructor
John is a highly experienced driving instructor and former NSW Police Officer of 30 years. John has completed an Advanced Driving Course with the NSW Police and has extensive legislative knowledge regarding traffic law and the Australian Road Rules. John is able to share and provide a safe professional environment for you to learn in. On his days off, John enjoys riding motorcycles, boating and four wheel driving.
John instructs in his own automatic vehicle but can also instruct in manual where the student has their own registered, roadworthy and fully insured vehicle. If using your own vehicle, students must complete at least one driving lesson with a Learn Drive Survive Driving Instructor and have 20-30 hours or more of supervised driving.

Instructor Dee
Owner / Driving Instructor
Dee is the owner of Learn Drive Survive Driving School. Dee loves to network and talk with anyone. She makes every learner feel calm at the same time, develops confidence through a great learning environment. Dee is a proud married mother of two children. Dee has trained as a High School Music Teacher and worked in multiple industries including Retail Pharmacy, Registered Training Organisations (RTO’s), recruitment and resume writing. She is an easy-going instructor and varies training to suit any learning need. In addition, Dee is a fully qualified driving instructor and holds a current Certificate IV TAE. She trains and assesses new Driving Instructors through the Nationally Accredited Certificate IV in Road Transport (Car Instruction) under the auspice of RTO 70220.
She is a Module 1 Facilitator and Module 2 Coach for the Safer Drivers Course and has been facilitating and coaching the Safer Drivers Course for five continuous years. Dee is also an Accredited “All Star” Keys2Drive Instructor for the Free Keys2Drive lesson.

Driving Instructor
Prue became a Driving Instructor after a 20-year policing career. Looking for a new challenge, more work-life balance and knowing all too well the tragedy caused by road trauma, Prue wants to influence how young people will drive throughout their lives with a focus on road safety, confidence and competence. Prue has a calm and professional demeanour with a passion for helping anxious learners and drivers overcome their fears without pressure, ultimately delivering a competent, safe driver.
Prue is happily married with two teenage boys and miniature schnauzer called Piper. Prue instructs in her own automatic vehicle but can also instruct in manual where the student has their own registered, roadworthy and fully insured vehicle. If using your own vehicle, students must complete at least one driving lesson with a Learn Drive Survive Driving Instructor and have 20-30 hours or more of supervised driving.
