Total cost of the course is $3000

If you require any remedial sessions to complete your qualification the cost is $70/hour

This course is not taught in any other language. Many students have successfully completed the training course even with broken English. However, you will need to complete the reading and writing task assessment to ascertain if your English is at a standard to complete the course. We will provide you with this document which you will need to return.

The practical lessons must be completed in a  dual control vehicle. If you don’t have dual controls fitted, you may use your trainers car. Having your own vehicle with dual controls fitted, would be beneficial to you as it would allow you to practice.  Not sure on what type of vehicle to get, your trainer can help you decide and provide you with information on where to have your dual controls fitted by a licenced fitter.

This will vary depending on a number of factors. This includes your experience, how quickly you learn, continued practice and probably most importantly, time. It takes time to become a skilled driving instructor, therefore, we suggest a time frame that is between 3-6 months.

However, if you’re dedicated and have a strong commitment to succeed, you can complete the course in as little as 8 weeks.  Depending on your needs, it can take longer if that is preferable ( your RMS eligibility advice expires after 18mths).

Absolutely! Just remain committed and practice between your study lessons. Due to time restraints with your current employment status, being able to fully commit to each lesson will be a little trickier. Just remember, if you really want it, you will work for it no matter how long it takes you. 

After completing your course, you will be capable of self-employment as an instructor or you can sub-contract to any driving school Australia wide. There is always a demand for well-trained driving instructors.
